I was pleasantly surprised with how delicious this place was. I got the mandarin chicken with fried rice (lunch special for $8.75). The sauce was perfect and not too sweet. The batter was light and crispy. The fried rice was flavorful and not dry at all. Just a heads up, they do not do free refills on soft drinks. Cute restaurant in the middle of a strip mall. There's plenty of space for big parties and the workers are nice and adorable! Will be back again the next time I'm in the area.
Love this place. I grew up in Idaho Falls and I'd eat here now and then. I'm not the person to ask about authentic Chinese or Cantonese food, but I like how they structure the menus. When I visit, it's always one of the restaurants I go to because it's low key, great service, quick, and you can always house our entire group (and I come from a big family). People are nice here and we often order takeout. Just be aware they don't accept Amex, that would be my only true critique.
We've been going here for six and a half years and never ever had a problem. The waitress is the nicest I've ever met in any restaurant and she's worked here for years. I have a lot of trouble believing the negative reviews posted here. What I don't have trouble believing is that there are some pretty racist people in this area that would want to hurt a business owned by immigrants. We live the food, the cleanliness (which I check on purpose in every restaurant), and the very nice people that work here. The serving sizes are almost more than a person can or should eat so again no problem with the pricing. And, you get a lot more food here than many other restaurants which cost a lot more these days. Zero problems recommending their establishment.
The food was mostly good. The sweet-and-sour pork was good as was the Bo-Bo platter/appetizer sampler. The lo mein and fried rice were fairly bland though. The portions were pretty good, but the overall cost was just way too expensive.
My family and I ordered here for New Year's Day dinner. My sister, who picked up the food, was impressed with the service. The food was delicious and plentiful.
